Dear Kindergarten Families,

I enjoyed meeting with all of you for conferences last week. Thank you for the positive feedback and your continued support. I feel we are on the right track with standard based progress reports. As I mentioned if there are any other question, please feel free to send me an email.

This is the week for the Christmas program! Your children are doing great with their songs and movements. It will be a great performance that you will surely enjoy. Please meet me in Biedermann Hall at 6:15 pm on Wednesday evening. The show starts at 6:30 sharp! Mistake in the letter from Mrs. Lyle -please be here early.

Have you put the Advent saint ornaments we made in class on your tree? So far we have made Saint Anne and Saint Nicholas. We will try to make a couple more this week.  Look for your child’s Advent wreath coming home this week as well.

Wednesday is a free dress day – please send in $1.00  or more to help our mission project for the second trimester.

This week we will be working on several Christmas related academics.

ELA- focus letter Pp as a review from last week. Listening for the short /a/ in words and ending sounds or rimes.

EM – probability continues and games with numbers and number words.

Friday is a noon dismissal – and the beginning of Christmas vacation. School will resume on January 5, 2015!
