Dear Kindergarten Parents,
As we move through the third trimester, your children are preparing for first grade in class every day. At home, reading together is the key to their success in all academic areas. Continue to read together each night. Ask your child questions about the story or informational text, make connections and/or inferences, reread to clarify, and discuss what they enjoyed and learned.
This week I’m putting up a site called ‘Easy CBM’ to test math skills. Three easy directions to find the math test:
1. select group “first test”
2. select your child’s name
3. select test (last one on the list) Math Numbers and Operations K_1.
When the test is completed, I will see the results. If you time runs short, work will be saved to continue at a later date.
