Dear Kindergarten Parents,

It has been a wonderful year and we have had lots of fun learning and making friendships! 🙂  I am going to miss all my students  – I know they are ready to do a great job as first grade students.

As we wrap up our last 5 days…we will be practicing our academics – but have lots of fun activities as well. Each day your child will bring home class items:  workbooks, booklets, last packet of classwork, and any supplies from this year.   All Sacred Heart teachers set up summer homework – look on our school website by the end of this week for Miss Manning’s First Grade summer homework!

Students wear uniform on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

A look at our last week:

Monday – in the morning ELA and EM classwork – after lunch – Field Day activities began. Please note it is a free-free dress. Your children should wear the colors their school families choose for the afternoon fun. (Check your school family colors list).

Tuesday– the most regular day this week! 🙂 We will wrap up any unfinished work in our books – read and play math games.

Wednesday – Our day starts with the 8th grade Graduation Mass – parents are welcome to come and sit with us. After Mass back to class for our academics, learning games and clean-up.

Thursday -Spirit Day  —  free dress and a 12:00 dismissal. Our activity is a game of  kick ball with our 5th grade buddies. Ending the morning with a hot dog free lunch. Last day for EDC.

Friday – Our last school  Mass for this year- please join us if your schedule permits. Dismissal is at 10:00. Noting  EDC is closed.

In closing, thank you for all your help and support this year.  It has been a fun year.  I am going to miss your students…

Enjoy your summer vacation!

God Bless your families

Mrs. Carol Brown
